Sunday Night Dismount- WWW Edition
Xtreme: This past weekend was our biggest event of the year… Walking Wisely Weekend. I’ll be blogging about that this week. It was simply incredible in so many ways. In the midst of it God challenged me with some, well challenging things. I sit here humbled and grateful that He has allowed me to serve on our team and to serve such incredible leaders. Amazing.
Music & Reading: To be honest. Didn’t read a lot or dig into much new music this past week. Need to get back on it this week! I did write 4 reviews for YouthWalk for some great records. Next book to try and finish is “Forgotten God” by Francis Chan.
Writing: Now that WWW is in the rear view mirror, it’s time to get back on the saddle for book 2 and get this thing finished. Looking forward to what God has for the journey to landing this thing. I have a ton of things that are scattered and chapters that have started, need to start wrapping them up and getting it all put together.
Personal: Frankly, WWW has taken up a large chunk of my life over the last season. Lots of phone calls, planning, meetings, emails, and a lot of other things getting ready for it. Now that it’s past I have some catching up to do with some things! I am looking forward to speaking at SV tomorrow night. Talking about social media to students and how it can affect our identity. This is something I’ve thought about/struggled with for a long time and my friend Darren asked me to talk about it tomorrow night. That’s good because that means I need to get some thoughts down and make a talk out of it
As soon as I publish this blog that’s my next thing to work on nailing down that talk.
More to come this week! Talk to you soon…
